OBJECTIVES

-To visualize the different units and parts required for extraction of heat from the body whose

temperature is lesser then the surroundings.

-To learn as to how different units and part are to be arranged and mounted to get the required

clean air to maintain predetermined atmospheric condition of a particular enclose.

-To find out the condition of air/refrigerant at each stage which passing through different units

and parts and recording of the same.

-To analyse the recorded data base to improve the C.O.P.

• Study of a room (window type) Air Conditioner.
• Determination of C.O.P of a vapour compression refrigeration system.
• Experiment in an Air Conditioning Test Unit; Determination of bypass factor and plotting of the cooling – dehumidification process on a psychometric chart.
• Performance test of thermoelectric refrigeration system.
