Hydrator

Problem Statement:

Water is best for staying hydrated. However, other drinks and foods can also help stay hydrated. Not only for drinking, in the hectic pace of life we warm water for many reasons. The elderly people, child, parents travelling with kids, patients travailing to the other cities for medical purpose need warm water for different reasons. On the contrary, in a tropical country like India, we too need cold water during hot seasons. There is a constant demand of cold water among the long distance travelers, daily commuter in trains, busses for their own refreshment. On the other hand, the soldiers and security forces of our nation are serving at the frontiers which mostly in the remote area and due to geographical and political reason, largely of them are with either high altitude or extreme hot desert. Also, there is a constant demand of warmer for the campers, alpinists and people who travel to different places for their work and tour, to prepare hot beverages like tea coffee by their own. Addressing this need, we have developed a reusable, rechargeable battery operated, standalone thermo-electric bottle to make beverage warm or cool from its room temperature, and more precisely a container that warms or cools liquid matter as water, cold beverages, coffee, tea, etc. whenever required.

Silicon Eye

Problem Statement:

'SILICON EYE' is an artificial vision for the blind people, where the visual information of the surrounding environment is converted into an auditory signal to help people with poor vision to ‘see obstacles with ear’ in front of them. The system provides a significant up gradation in the daily living of blind and partially blind people. This will help them to identify the static or moving obstacles in front of them and also be aware of those beforehand. Not only it helps in identifying the obstacles but also tells them about the kind of obstacle lies ahead of them.

i-Control

Problem Statement:

For physically challenged patients, sometimes even the easiest of works like switching lights and fans or asking for water and medicines, becomes a difficult activity. These patients even in the time of any emergency are unable to even raise any alarm. For such patients a system is required which can utilize even the slightest of movements for generating some preloaded signs. The main aim of this project is to design and construct a head movement controlled device Switching system as well as a speaking micro controller for physically challenged. The user can wear this device to head and with the Simple head movement’s he can request the basic needs like water, food or medicine by using a speaking system.

Virtual Oil Tracker

Problem Statement:

In the rapid growth in transport sector and industrial sector, use of earth mover, transport vehicles, diesel generators and other petroleum based machineries has become an essential part. Now-a-days installation of stationary petroleum based machineries and maintenance of both stationary and movable petroleum equipment become a big issue as most of the time they are remain located in a remote places. Although all the issues are alarming and can be given most importance but in this concept of the project the preference is given to the unanticipated issue that is fuel theft from the fuel tank of petroleum machineries as government and most of the companies are counting a loss of millions of currencies because of this unusual fuel loss. Not limited to theft, companies also suffer due to the volatility property of the petroleum fuel. The fuel gets disappeared from the fuel tank due to many reasons like loosen tank cap, a small hole on the tank, etc. With the increasing rate of fuel this issue of fuel theft and its volatility has become a major annoyance for the owner of different companies. we are presenting a concept of a float type, electronic sensor based measurement system which can accurately measure the fuel quantity and can share the data to an android app frequently with current time scale. With this control system one can easily identify and monitor how much fuel is reloaded and how much is used and also can point out the missing rate of fuel from any site by studying the data present in the data acquisition system as built in the android app.

TravelBot

Problem Statement:

Heavy luggage can be big hassle for holiday travel, and those overload bags some time leads to critical health problems. Individuals are at a high risk for back, neck and shoulder strains when carelessly handling heavy luggages. If we can make the luggage self caring one which follows the owner wherever he goes, lots of health hazards can be avoided. So we have developed a solution which is a self carrying robotic trolley and able to carry multiple numbers of luggage at any point of time making a family travel completely hassle free and it don’t have ant dependency on external devices like mobile, tabs, etc.

Non-contact Battery charger

Problem Statement:

Wireless charging eliminates the cable typically required to charge mobile phones, cordless appliances and so on. With a wireless charger, the battery inside any battery-powered appliance can be charged by simply placing the appliance close to a wireless power transmitter or a designated charging station. As a result, the appliance casing can be made completely sealed, even waterproof. Besides the inherent convenience it offers, wireless charging can also greatly enhance reliability, since the charging plug on the side of an appliance can suffer mechanical damage easily. This innovation can be extensively use in mobile phones, headsets, wireless speakers, mice, keyboards, public Access Charging Terminal, Laptops, notebooks, ultra books and tablet PCs or even battery powered electric vehicles.

RFID based innovative multi-storied car parking system

Problem Statement:

In recent times the numbers of vehicles are constantly rising and parking space is becoming a major issue in urban and semi-urban areas. So, there is a need to design a car parking system which will reduce manual work as well as reduce the problem of car parking on streets. Compact and space saving is the key priorities where space is the basic constraints for parking slots. Moreover which car will leave earlier is the parameter for the allocation of parking slots. To resolve this problems RF –ID based electronically programmable parking slots arrangements is one of the solution for the proposed problem. Where both the car (which will be parked) as well as specific parking slots will be tagged and accordingly car will be parked at the smartly allocated by the programme to the specific parking slots.
