B.Tech Lateral Admission Process

The admission process to Dream Institute of Technology for B.Tech Lateral courses is conducted as per the guidelines of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. Approval: All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Eligibility

• (a) The candidate must pass Diploma in the relevant branch as notified time to time by the Director of Technical Education, Govt. of West Bengal from an institute approved by AICTE
• (b) The candidate must secure at least 45% (40% for SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B / PWD) marks or equivalent CGPA in diploma examination in relevant branch.
• (c) The candidate must pass B. Sc. Degree from any University recognized by UGC with at least 45% (40 for SC / ST / OBC-A / OBC-B/ PWD) marks. Also, the candidate must have passed 12th standard school examination with Mathematics as a subject.
• (d) There is no upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering Technology.
• (e) For B. Sc. Candidates the upper age limit is 27 (twenty seven) years as on 31.12.2020.
• (f) Qualify the Common Entrance Examination through JELET for B.Tech Lateral Admission.
