Strength of Materials LabORATORY

Strength of Materials is the branch of continuum mechanics that studies the behavior of solid materials, especially their motion and deformation under the action of forces, temperature changes, phase changes, and other external or internal agents. The Mechanics of Solids Laboratory is a facility dedicated to the structural testing and design of components and materials Strength of Materials is fundamental subject for Mechanical, Civil engineering and for many branches of physics such as materials science. This is a common laboratory for both Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students. This laboratory helps to find out properties or characteristics of materials.
