The Department of Basic Science & Humanities is the most vital part of the B.Tech curriculum. This Department is devoted to foster the fundamental principles and understanding of science to enhance the students’ basic knowledge of engineering.

The Department comprises different subjects of study namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Values and English. Since inception Dream Institute Technology has given robust emphasis on the development of this department. Well-experienced and highly qualified faculty members of the department have made consistent efforts to improve the students learning, research and development processes. The department has state-of-the-art laboratories and advanced department library facilities to facilitate research. Special Spoken English classes are conducted for weak students to improve their communication skills. The Department has also opened avenues to promote entrepreneurship among budding engineers to drive Corporate Social Responsibility. To improve the quality of the students, the institution has set up a very well-equipped Language & Personality Development Laboratory. With the use of LCD, OHP, and the latest software packages, the aspiring engineers are trained on how to communicate and use the appropriate soft-skill in general as well as in organizational life.
